Safety, Health and
Environment
We believe nothing is so important it cannot be delivered safely. Health and safety is embedded into everything we do at Arc Partnership, whether that's on a large construction site, at a desk at home, or in the office.
By implementing a safety management system, we take account of internal and external issues together with the needs and expectations of our stakeholders and supply chain.
Our safety management system, designed in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001, assists in providing a safe and healthy workplace, preventing work-related injuries and ill health, and helps us to continually improve our performance.
We ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) 2015, which applies to all building and construction work including new builds, demolition, refurbishment, extensions, conversions, repairs and maintenance.
Arc Partnership have integrated the requirements of the Building A Safer future Registered Signatory commitments into our ISO 45001 Safety Management System, and are working towards a Building A Safer future Champion status benchmarking and verification framework.
We support Nottinghamshire County Council’s vision of a healthy, prosperous and green Nottinghamshire.
Our environmental standards in delivery are set by Nottinghamshire County Council and our clients - to ensure that environmental sustainability is embedded throughout our operations, performance managed in our supply chains, and promoted to the wider industry/area.
We are committed to leaving a sustainable legacy within communities in Nottinghamshire and across the wider D2N2 region. As an organisation we are actively reducing our carbon emissions in order to become net zero in operation no later than 2028.
Discover more about how we will achieve this in our Carbon Reduction Plan.
We support the council and our clients in protecting the environment and reducing our carbon footprint, and support the council's plans from supporting and improving biodiversity, to reducing waste and increasing recycling.
As part of our commitment, we signed up to the Construction Waste Portal to minimise the environmental impact of construction projects being delivered on behalf of the council
