Demolition of the former Orchard School
The demolition of the former Orchard School located at the town site on Appletongate, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 1JR, is being managed by Arc Partnership, with Ron Hull Demolition serving as the appointed contractor.
The project is scheduled to commence in late September and is anticipated to be completed within an estimated timeframe of 12 weeks.
- All buildings on site will be demolished down to the top of the concrete floor slab.
- All demolition materials will be removed from the site to appropriate recycling streams, the site will be left clear of all waste.
- Site boundaries will be reinstated with green security fencing where required.
- Concrete gate blocks will be put in place to prevent unauthorised access to site after the demolition is complete.
- The works will be carried out in accordance with the relevant grant of planning permission in a conservation area.
- All asbestos containing materials will be removed in accordance with the Control of Asbestos regulations 2012 and verified by a accredited asbestos analyst.
